Financial Administrator (Bookkeeping and Administrative Support)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Administrator with a blend of bookkeeping and virtual assistant skills to support our team. If you are proficient in accounting tasks, eager to learn, and have a knack for organization, this role may be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Enterprise (server-based).
  • Prepare and vet collections processes, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up to date.
  • Perform regular reconciliation work, ensuring financial data matches across accounts.
  • Track and manage financial records, including expenses, invoices, and payments.

• Clerical & Administrative Support:

  • Update and maintain the One-Call database with fiber plant information (3,000 miles of fiber plant).
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, file management, and data entry.
  • Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise (or willingness to undergo training).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a solid understanding of formulas and financial data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Preferred:
  • Previous experience in a clerical, bookkeeping, or administrative support role.
  • Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure or telecom projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
