Software Test EngineerTapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO. and/or Hazelwood, MO. In this role you will test software for the F-15 Mission Planning systems.Position Responsibilities:Execute and maintain test procedures and test cases for new and existing productsPerforms test in accordance with approved test plan/procedure and applicable policiesReport and manage defectsRegression test software fixes for new and existing productsParticipate in Requirements and Functional Specifications reviews of new features and verify these requirements are reflected in the test specificationsDocument, troubleshoot and follow up on issues found during testingActively work with other members of the team to constantly improve the process, tools and effectiveness of the teamAssist Development with replicating and debugging problemsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's Degree3+ years experience developing and maintaining software test documentation3+ years experience with test and validate to ensure software meets operational and functional requirementsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experienceExperience with test or system integrationExperience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOpsExperience writing and analyzing test procedures and software requirementsAutomated test experienceUnderstanding of Mission Planning Software usageExperience with OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testingDrug Free Workplace: We are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits: We strive to deliver a total rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
