We're seeking dedicated educational technicians (Behavioral Health Professionals) to support students and educators in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to contribute positively to educational growth and student success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of completed college education required; 3 years preferred to qualify as an Ed Tech 3
- Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, educational technician, or in a similar support role within a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships with students and staff
- Ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of classrooms and provide consistent, dependable support
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, respect, and professionalism at all times
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities
- Work directly with students to reinforce learning objectives and promote engagement
- Support students with behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges as a trusted BHP
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance, ensuring each student receives individualized attention
- Monitor student progress and deliver feedback to educators to support targeted instruction
- Help create an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
