Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a paraprofessional, CNA, RBT, or similar support role within educational or pediatric environments
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom climate
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility in responding to individual student needs
- Valid credentials or certification for your particular area (e.g., CNA, RBT), as applicable
- Ability to follow instructional plans and behavior intervention strategies consistently
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and facilitate participation
- Implement behavior plans and therapeutic interventions as directed
- Assist with classroom management and organization
- Provide personal care or mobility support as required, depending on assignment
- Document student progress and report concerns to supervising staff
- Promote social-emotional well-being and encourage student independence
