Supply Chain Management (SCM) Advisor

Job Title: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Advisor Duration: 7 months Schedule: Hybrid; 4 days in office (Monday-Thursday) and remote on Friday. Location: Houston, TX Opportunity: This opportunity sits within a supply chain management environment focused on developing contractual templates across Operations & Maintenance, Capital Projects, and Shared Services. The role offers the chance to work closely with legal, risk, finance and business stakeholders to help standardise contract formation, improve acquisition efficiency, and support fit-for-purpose terms and conditions in an energy-sector setting. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent Required Experience: 10 years of direct experience in both contract formation and post-award contract management Proven experience developing diverse contractual templates within the oil & gas and/or energy sectors Experience collaborating across supply chain, business owners, legal, risk and finance subject matter experts to deliver contractual solutions Experience identifying opportunities to standardise and simplify contracting requirements across multiple scope areas Required Skills: Expertise in contractual terms and conditions applicable to the oil & gas and/or energy sectors Experience developing contracting playbooks and clause libraries Deep understanding of indemnity, limitation of liability, cybersecurity, insurance, warranty, intellectual property, confidentiality and supplier risk allocation Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making Influencing, communication and facilitation skills across cultures, functions and geographies Ability to advise and engage stakeholders at all levels of management Knowledge of supply categories including equipment, materials and services within assigned areas of concentration Ability to work effectively in a team setting and support change management within the organisation Proven ability to build relationships with peers, subject matter experts, senior leadership, business stakeholders and suppliers Strong presentation, organisation and planning skills Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration platforms including Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams Preferred Qualifications: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) (Preferred) Certified Supply Management (CSM) (Preferred) Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSD) (Preferred) Certified Professional in Inventory Management (CPIM) (Preferred) Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) (Preferred) About Airswift: Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
