Requirements Job ID: 3476124 FIXED Schedule Coverage Full-time coverage 5x8s - Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM 40 hours GTD Night Call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM Weekend Call: 24-hour shifts 7:00 AM–7:00 AM with a 2-hour minimum guarantee Weekday Weekend: 2 hr. Minimum only applies if actually called in and work is under 2 hrs. OR if called in and immediately sent home due to the case being cancelled. Otherwise they only receive their case start and end times. If not called in they only receive the flat rate. Must be willing to cover a minimum of 2 calls per week but they are open to taking on additional call coverage as needed. Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when on call Always check in and out with the Unit Coordinator when entering or leaving the facility Clinical Requirements • Minimum 2 years of Anesthesiology experience • Board Certified or Board Eligible • Proficient in Regional Anesthesia • Must be able to independently perform blocks • Comfortable supervising up to 4:1 • OB experience required • Cannot accept Residents or Fellows Need to be NY Licensed Call Guarantee Details • When working call the previous day the provider may be released early as ORs close throughout the day the provider must clock their actual hours but will still receive the 10-hour shift guarantee. • If called into the hospital while on call those hours are considered OT and will count toward the shift guarantee while still being paid at the OT rate. Provider must clock actual hours. To clarify this is an example of the guaranteed hours breakdown. Ex. 50 hr. Week Provider Worked 8107510 over 5 days. Total= 43 hrs. Called In 02002 over 5 days. Total=4hrs. We would pay 46 hrs.Add 3 hrs. Reg rate and 4 hrs. OT/Call Back. Total 50 hrs. To get them to guarantee. Now if it's reversed and the OT/Back was 10 hrs. Then we would pay 43 reg. And 10 hrs. OT/Call Back for 53 hrs. Credentialing Submission Requirements • New York license in hand • AHA or RQI certification • CV must be agency-branded at time of submission • Work history must be current and up to date • No unexplained work history gaps of 30 days • Physician statement required for any malpractice history whether dismissed or not - Must be notified of any Malpractice claims brought against provider Even if cleared of wrongdoing this may be a disqualifying factor. Please inform me when first sending the candidate and CV if they've had any. • Candidate email address and phone number must be included with every submission • Credentialing typically takes 3-4 weeks to complete Interview Process • Phone interview with the Anesthesia Chief - Wes Kipphut Travel reimbursement: Up to 2000/week for eligible expenses including flights lodging rental car etc. Must include all receipts Shift Info: Day 5x8-Hour 07:00 - 15:00
