Description - Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and specialized lab analyses-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results by analyzing, trouble-shooting discrepancies, and executing preventative maintenance on lab equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection while preparing and processing samples for a multitude of tests.
• Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and contribute to sustaining the lab's quality benchmarks.
• Ensure adherence to a clean, safe work environment while following regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure with us.
