Clinical Supervisor (RN) - ICU - Full Time Night Shift

Responsibilities Position qualifies for a $6,000 sign-on bonus. This full-time opportunity offers 36 hours per week with full benefits. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California is a 120-bed acute-care hospital with the region’s only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. The hospital also provides the area’s only OB/Emergency Department program, offering expectant mothers 24/7 on-site OB/GYN coverage. The Childbirth Center is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s. Clinical supervisors are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment, and care assigned to unit(s). Clinical supervisors practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies while consistently demonstrating behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospital’s mission statement. They act as a resource and leader in the assigned unit(s), demonstrating critical thinking in the management of patient care and patient flow, possessing the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Charge nurse or supervisory expertise in department-specific, preferred. Minimum Essential Education Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program. BSN preferred. Required Licensure / Certifications Registered Nurse with current California RN license. American Heart Association: BLS, ACLS, PALS. NIH Stroke Certification. TNCC (within 6 months of hire, IVMC ICU only). CCRN (ICU) or PCCN (PCU) strongly encouraged. Twelve Lead EKG class within 6 months of accepting the position preferred.
