Accounting Receivable Specialist Assistant, Part-Time, 1st Shift

Community Care is hiring an Accounting Receivable Specialist Assistant. This Part-Time opportunity offers a weekday schedule (no weekends) at our office in Brookfield, WI.

Accounting Receivable Specialist Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Support Accounts Receivable - Provide accounting and clerical support to the Member Accounting Department. Meets monthly deadlines for preparation of member invoicing. Types accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records. Daily enter key data financial transactions in the accounting software with high accuracy.
• Record and Apply Payments - Records cash receipts and applies payments to correct accounts. Resolves any discrepancy between calculated/recorded premium and payment received per established guidelines. Collects member cost shares and co-payments per established policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments - Works closely with other CCI departments regarding member revenue, billing and any issues that impact invoicing, collection activities and member eligibility.
• Co-worker Coverage and Assistance - Provides coverage for absent specialists by assisting with member-specific issues. Handles phone calls and communications with the members, care teams and responsible parties. Documents all interactions to provide seamless resolutions and comprehensive communication for the absent specialist.
• Audit Assistance - Assists with internal and external audits.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Accounting Receivable Specialist Assistant Job Requirements:

• Education - High School Diploma Required, Associates Degree in Accounting Preferred
• Experience - Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping or billing related work experience required. Experience in a health insurance setting preferred.

• Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 12:00PM Hours are subject to change and may vary.
