Description

Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Workplace Experience Coordinator to support daily workplace operations and deliver an exceptional customer service experience to employees, visitors, and guests at a professional office facility in Chicago, IL . This 6-month contract role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating office services, and helping maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional environment. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and guests, creating a friendly and professional first impression.
• Welcome visitors, issue visitor and parking passes, and follow established security procedures.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and assist with general questions and requests.
• Coordinate workplace services, including mail distribution, office supplies, employee onboarding, and maintenance or janitorial work orders.
• Arrange meeting spaces, presentations, dining reservations, and other business or workplace activities.
• Organize onsite events, including reserving event spaces, setting up and breaking down rooms, and coordinating supplies.
• Respond to employee and guest inquiries or concerns, helping resolve issues with a customer-focused approach.
• Coordinate with vendors providing workplace services and supplies.
• Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures and notify appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Communicate relevant information to team members and follow established procedures and manager instructions.
• Assist with additional workplace and administrative tasks to support smooth daily operations.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Up to 2 years of relevant job-related experience; customer service, hospitality, reception, or administrative experience is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Ability to follow established procedures, manage routine issues, and adapt to changing workplace needs.
