Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing patient-centered treatment programs designed to meet individual rehabilitation goals.
• Perform hands-on therapeutic modalities such as therapeutic exercises, soft tissue mobilization, and manual therapy techniques while adhering to treatment plans.
• Educate patients and family members on appropriate exercise techniques, recovery strategies, and activities of daily living to foster independence and improve life quality.
• Continuously monitor, record, and report patient progress and responses to treatment during therapy sessions, ensuring timely adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care ensuring the best outcome through effective communication and shared insights.
• Utilize trigger point therapy techniques when necessary to address muscle tension and enhance patient mobility.
• Engage in supporting occupational health initiatives, which include promoting wellness and preventive care among our patient population.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work with a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Providing tailored support to assess patients' needs and preferences, you will be instrumental in guiding them on their path to recovery and improved mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Physical Therapy is highly preferable.
• A current and active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge and clinical skills.
• A comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology that allows for effective patient assessment and treatment.
• Competency in various manual therapy techniques to provide high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment and a passion for collaborative patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Specific training in functional rehabilitation and therapeutic modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
