Legal Recruiter

Gomez Law, APC is a Los Angeles real estate litigation firm handling quiet title, partition actions, wrongful foreclosure, and adverse possession matters, plus estate planning and probate. We're a 50-person firm with offices on Wilshire Blvd and in Norwalk, and we're hiring across attorney, paralegal, law clerk, and support roles. We're looking for an in-house Legal Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting end to end — sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support. You'll be the single point of contact for every candidate from first outreach to start date, and you'll work directly with firm leadership on hiring priorities.

REMOTE & HYBRID

Sourcing, outreach, first-round interviews, and pipeline management are all remote. You'll need to be LA-based and available on-site for in-person final interviews, local networking events and CLEs, and periodic leadership meetings — roughly 2–3 days per week during active hiring cycles, fewer otherwise.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage up to five active sponsored LinkedIn Recruiter posts, prioritized by hiring urgency and practice-area need Build Boolean searches by title, practice area, and case type, with exclusion filters to control volume Run sponsored Indeed postings for critical litigation roles; use BetterTeams for support and administrative roles Review all active postings daily and advance or decline candidates promptly Write personalized outreach that references the candidate's actual background — no mass messaging Maintain a standing bench of five vetted candidates each for attorneys, paralegals, and law clerks, even when no role is open Conduct 30-minute first-round interviews via Microsoft Teams Schedule in-person final interviews, confirm panels two days out, and distribute resumes, notes, and LinkedIn profiles to interviewers Run background checks and California State Bar verification before any offer Conduct two supervisory reference checks per candidate Extend preliminary offers and hand off to HR for the formal letter Coordinate weekly LinkedIn engagement posts highlighting case wins and settlements Attend local legal networking events and CLEs; coordinate networking lunches for firm leadership Log all activity in Asana and update daily Lead the weekly Recruiting Huddle and attend weekly KPI meetings with senior attorneys

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience — legal, professional services, or another licensed field Hands-on LinkedIn Recruiter experience, including Boolean search construction Comfort running multiple open roles at once with minimal oversight Strong written communication — most first impressions of our firm come through your outreach Disciplined documentation habits; you'll live in Asana Based in greater Los Angeles with reliable transportation to both offices

NICE TO HAVE

Legal recruiting experience, especially litigation Familiarity with Clio, Asana, and Microsoft Teams Existing LA legal network or LACBA/CAALA involvement Experience recruiting offshore or Upwork support staff

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
