Paralegal

Scion Staffing is conducting a search for a Part-Time Paralegal on behalf of a well-established family law practice. This is a temporary, onsite position in Farmington Hills, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced family law paralegal looking for a flexible schedule while supporting a busy and collaborative legal team. Part-time schedule, 3 days a week, 24 hours per week. Contract opportunity with immediate start available. Competitive pay of $45/hour. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and proofread pleadings, motions, declarations, and other legal documents. Handle electronic filing (e-filing) in state courts and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines. Assist with all phases of discovery, including drafting, organizing, and responding to discovery requests. Review case documentation for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with opposing counsel, court personnel, and clients regarding case status and scheduling. Maintain case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines. Perform additional paralegal and legal administrative duties to support the practice. Qualifications Demonstrated experience with family law litigation procedures and court filings. Strong e-filing experience and familiarity with state court systems. Experience managing discovery and preparing litigation documents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compensation $45/hr.
