Payroll Clerk

Pay: $20-$22/hr (DOE)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Type: Direct Hire

Our team is looking for a dependable Payroll Clerk who enjoys balancing payroll responsibilities with general office support. You'll play an important role in maintaining accurate payroll records, assisting employees, and supporting day-to-day accounting and/or administrative operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Prepare and process weekly payroll

Review timekeeping records for accuracy

Update employee payroll information

Maintain payroll files and confidential records

Prepare payroll reports and assist management with reporting requests

Support payroll audits and reconciliations

Assist with year-end payroll activities

Help administer timekeeping systems and resolve discrepancies

Provide administrative support to the accounting team

Perform additional office duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Payroll experience required at least 3-5 yrs experience

Familiarity with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar)

Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)

Accurate data entry and strong organizational abilities

Bilingual is a plus but not required English and Spanish
