Material Handler - Cycle Counter 2nd ShiftLocation: Whitsett, NC, US, 27377 Business Unit: Bison Posting Date: Aug 2, 2026The Material Handler – Cycle Counter is an hourly second shift role responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and inventory audits. This position plays a key role in ensuring material accuracy to support warehouse operations, production schedules, and customer fulfillment. The associate performs hands-on counting, documentation, and discrepancy resolution while following established safety and quality standards.What you will do:Perform scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory following standard operating proceduresAccurately count, verify, and document material quantities, locations, lot numbers, and part numbersEnter count results into ORACLE in a timely and accurate mannerIdentify, research, and report inventory discrepancies; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actionsWork with supervisors and cross-functional teams (warehouse, production, quality) to resolve inventory issuesMaintain organized, labeled, and accurate storage locations to support inventory accuracyParticipate in physical inventory counts as requiredFollow all safety rules, quality standards, and housekeeping (5S) expectationsPerform general material handling tasks as assigned, including receiving, stocking, picking, and moving materialsWhat we are looking for:High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferredExperience with cycle counting or inventory control preferredBasic computer and data entry skills; ORACLE knowledge is a plusAbility to read work instructions and follow written and verbal directionsStrong attention to detail and accuracyForklift certifiedAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lift 20-50 lbs.Strong communication and teamwork skillsCompensationEmployee Type: Exception Hourly Currency: USD Salary Minimum: 35,000 Salary Maximum: 45,000 Incentive: No
