Fleet Operations Specialist Department: Supporting Employment Type: Full Time Location: Corporate Branch Reporting To: Dan Gibbons Description Charlotte, NC | Full-Time | Onsite Starting Pay: $22-$26/hr (Based on Experience) WMH Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for a Fleet Operations Specialist to help support the day-to-day execution of our expanding rental and fleet operations. If you have experience in logistics, dispatch, fleet coordination, equipment rental, transportation, dealership operations, inventory management, or operational support, we’d love to talk with you. This is a highly visible role that works across multiple departments to help ensure equipment is available, delivered on time, properly tracked, accurately documented, and ready to support our customers throughout the Southeast. Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Profit Sharing Retirement Benefits Cell Phone Allowance Professional Development Opportunities Career Advancement Opportunities Industry-Leading Equipment & Technology What You’ll Do Coordinate incoming rental requests from customers and internal teams Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, transfers, and returns Monitor fleet availability and equipment readiness Coordinate equipment transfers between branches Support rental fleet utilization and equipment tracking Maintain accurate rental records and documentation Coordinate equipment movement between branches and customer locations Monitor inventory levels and fleet status Assist with inventory audits and fleet reconciliation Support equipment allocation and operational planning Help improve fleet visibility and utilization Create and manage purchase orders Process vendor invoices and documentation Support rental billing activities Maintain ERP and rental management system records Track operational and fleet-related data Communicate with customers regarding equipment availability and scheduling Coordinate with sales, service, transportation, and operations teams Work with vendors and external partners Help ensure smooth execution throughout the rental process One day you may be coordinating equipment deliveries across multiple branches. The next, you may be working with vendors on re-rent equipment, processing purchase orders, tracking fleet inventory, supporting billing activities, or helping solve an urgent customer need.
