Location: Plymouth, MN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Freight Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, ensuring orders are accurate, properly packaged, and shipped on time.

This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse work with computer-based shipping tasks—perfect for someone who enjoys staying active while also working with systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate outgoing shipments using FedEx Freight Manager and internal systems
• Enter and verify shipment details (addresses, pallet weights, dimensions)
• Create and print shipping labels for freight and parcel shipments
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment (boxing, wrapping, banding pallets)
• Use an RF scanner to track inventory and update systems
• Perform order picking using pick lists and push carts
• Assist with inventory tasks such as bin transfers and cycle counts
• Help with receiving incoming shipments (after training)
• Support unloading of containers and inbound freight when needed
• Assist with kitting and other general warehouse duties
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of freight shipping experience
• Experience using FedEx Freight Manager
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Strong computer skills and data entry accuracy
• Experience in warehouse shipping/receiving processes
• Familiarity with order picking, inventory, and outbound logistics
• Comfortable using RF scanners

Nice to Have:

• Experience with warehouse management systems and bin transfers
• Familiarity with UPS or other freight carriers
• Experience using pallet jacks
• Experience in inventory control and logistics
• Experience unloading containers and handling inbound shipments

Work Environment

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
