Location: Secaucus, NJ (Onsite 5 days)

Our client seeks a proficient Power BI Specialist to become an integral part of their expert team, offering both technical development and support. This role is critical as the client embarks on the implementation of data marts and introduces an enterprise-level self-service BI function. Candidates should be proactive, analytical professionals with a history of establishing and managing a self-serve PowerBI framework, crafting reports, and facilitating the training of end-users.

Key Duties:

• Collaborate with the client to manage analytics and dashboarding from conceptualization to user report delivery using Power BI.
• Analyze requirements, design, and prototype Power BI solutions.
• Establish and manage a Power BI environment for enterprise-wide self-service use.
• Execute quality assurance.
• Provide training support to end-users.
• Create and implement reports and dashboards with Power BI.
• Ensure reports offer advanced user features like drill-down and filtering.
• Execute additional tasks as necessitated by client requirements.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience with Power BI.
• Demonstrated capability in deploying enterprise-wide, self-serve Power BI functions.
• Proficient in data warehousing within an enterprise setting.
• Skilled in handling dataset ingestion, constructing data models, generating reports and dashboards, and utilizing Power BI Pro functionalities including workspaces and security protocols.
• Proven track record in developing self-service models and data analytics via Power BI.
• Expertise in enhancing Power BI Dashboards focusing on user experience, performance, adaptability, testability, and standardization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban is an advantage.
• Exceptional initiative, problem-solving capabilities, and research skills.
• Quick learner of new technologies with a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Competent in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in forging and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Certifications:

• MCSA Power Platform Developer Associate or
• MCSA: BI Reporting
