LOCATION
Dallas, TX 75211 | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay: $23.00/hour
• Full-time, W-2
• Standard business hours; overtime may be required based on business needs

ROLE IMPACT
The Payroll Clerk plays a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time by maintaining payroll and timekeeping records. This position supports daily payroll operations by auditing time records, maintaining employee payroll data, and partnering with managers to resolve discrepancies while maintaining strict confidentiality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review, audit, and maintain manual and electronic timekeeping records to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Monitor daily employee punches, identify missing or incorrect entries, and work with management to resolve discrepancies before payroll processing.
• Prepare and submit weekly payroll data for corporate payroll processing.
• Maintain payroll records for holidays, PTO, vacation, sick leave, employee transfers, pay rate changes, new hires, leaves of absence, and terminations.
• Process payroll-related updates within SAP and other payroll/timekeeping systems while safeguarding confidential employee information.
• Create and maintain payroll spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Provide professional support to employees and internal stakeholders regarding payroll and timekeeping questions.
• Perform additional administrative and payroll duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll, timekeeping, or computerized accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word with the ability to maintain accurate payroll records and spreadsheets.

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• SAP
• Kronos (preferred) or comparable timekeeping systems
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Word
• Payroll and timekeeping software

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience processing union payroll is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Regularly required to sit, use hands for computer and office tasks, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally.
• Work is performed in a quiet office environment.
• Ability to work extended hours when business needs require.
