About the Role: As the Payroll Administrator, you'll take ownership of the company’s full-cycle payroll operations, driving accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role plays a critical part in ensuring team members are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining strong internal controls and supporting organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing, reporting, and analytics Ensure accurate multi-state payroll compliance, including payroll tax filings and payments Reconcile payroll entries to general ledger accounts with a high level of precision Review and refine payroll procedures to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency Supervise payroll staff to ensure timely, accurate, and equitable payroll administration Oversee relationships with payroll vendors and support internal and external audits Monitor legal and regulatory changes to maintain full payroll compliance Prepare custom payroll reports to support accounting and finance teams What We're Looking For: 5+ years of hands-on payroll experience, including 2+ years managing multi-state payroll Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at HR Additions by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Payroll Administrator” roles.
