A well-established and highly respected Twin Cities law firm is seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join its growing family law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while supporting attorneys and clients through complex and often sensitive family law matters.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of family law matters, including:
• Marriage dissolutions (divorce)
• Child custody and parenting time disputes
• Child support and spousal maintenance matters
• Post-decree proceedings
• Orders for Protection (OFP)
• Harassment Restraining Orders (HRO)
• Draft, revise, and organize legal documents and correspondence.
• Prepare and manage court filings and related case materials.
• Maintain electronic client files and document management systems.
• Coordinate attorney calendars, appointments, hearings, mediations, and other case-related scheduling.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other third parties.
• Assist with discovery, document collection, and case preparation.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Provide administrative and legal support to multiple attorneys.
• Contribute to a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional client service.

• Prior paralegal experience in family law or a related legal practice area preferred.
• Strong interest in developing expertise in family law and related proceedings.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a high-volume workload.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working in a paperless or highly electronic legal environment preferred.
• Familiarity with legal document management systems is a plus.
