This role allows you the flexibility of working from a remote setting while maintaining significant interaction with clients through teletherapy and occasional in-office sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be expected to:

• Develop effective, individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific goals, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, implementing therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique background and challenges, with an emphasis on fostering personal growth.

• Collaborate with clients to establish concrete therapeutic goals and continuously evaluate their progress, ensuring treatment adjustments are made as necessary.

• Offer both virtual (teletherapy) and in-person session options to clients, ensuring accessible care for those who may face challenges in attending physical appointments.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of sessions and treatment plans to meet ethical guidelines and regulatory standards, demonstrating professionalism in all documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice predominantly serves a diverse patient population experiencing various mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. You will have the opportunity to engage with individuals from different backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic interventions to meet their unique needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current mental health license such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to establish a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to understanding client experiences.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage caseloads and associated administrative duties.

Preferred Experience\n
