Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Healthy Mind and Soul Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental health, including exploring the emotional, psychological, and behavioral dimensions of weight management issues related to obesity and binge eating.

• Utilize standardized assessment tools to identify mental health challenges and assist in developing personalized treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions focused on addressing emotional and psychological factors that contribute to eating behaviors and weight challenges.

• Design tailored treatment programs that reflect each client's unique needs, aspirations, and preferences.

• Educate clients about the complex psychological elements surrounding weight management, including self-esteem, body image, and emotional coping strategies.

• Enhance clients' understanding of the triggers leading to unhealthy eating patterns and behaviors.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing to support sustainable lifestyle changes.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions for weight management, fostering a nurturing group dynamic that encourages dialogue, shared experiences, and collective learning.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• An unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license to practice in the state of Florida.

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, with earnings between USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
