Analyst I, Education Unit

Salary $3,861.00 - $6,276.00 per Month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable. Position Overview You will support coordination of diverse educational programs, including event registration, attendee customer service, in‑person event logistics, webinar operations, contract administration, speaker logistics, and more. Work Location Hybrid (telework and in‑office). Periodic travel to CDIAC hosted events (seminar/workshop conferences) held in‑person, several times a year. Special Requirements Background Investigation clearance required prior to hiring. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification. Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, include unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification in your application packet. Official sealed transcripts or original diploma with embossed seal required prior to appointment. Desirable Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Familiarity with webinar platforms such as Webex. Familiarity with video editing and graphic design software. Proficient writing and communication. Experience planning and orchestrating large events, meetings, seminars, or forums. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and partners. Understanding of public finance including debt issuance and investment of public funds. Good work habits, excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability. Self‑starter with initiative, resourcefulness, and good judgment. Ability to work independently and with daily supervision and in a team. Professional representation at business meetings, industry functions, and other related events. Handle multiple priorities and make independent, thoughtful recommendations. Flexible and adaptable to change in a dynamic work environment.
