About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its strategic vision and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the long-range strategy, commercial development, and market position of the organization. This role demands a leader with a minimum of 10 years' senior executive experience in a relevant industry, a proven track record in driving business growth, and a strong background in financial management. The Executive Director will oversee major infrastructure projects, foster commercial partnerships, and ensure the Port's operations are safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include strategic leadership, operational and organizational management, infrastructure and capital development, commercial growth, financial stewardship, and government and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for an advanced degree, and must demonstrate the ability to work effectively within public-sector governance structures. They should be adept at building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including public officials, industry partners, and the community. The role requires a visionary leader who can balance the demands of public stewardship with the need for commercial development, and who is committed to the mission of promoting economic growth and expanding global trade opportunities.
