Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Encompass Medical Group is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within our Lenexa office. Position Accountabilities:

• Performs physical exams, preventive health measure, and acute care for both family medicine and internal medicine patients.
• Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's health care needs.
• Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
• Discusses care with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans.
• Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
• May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

Qualifications include:

• NP/PA licensure for Missouri and Kansas
• Successful completion of accredited nurse practitioner/physician assistant program
• Certification in Diabetic Education or ability to gain certification in this area
• Display of professionalism
• Extraordinary organizational ability
• Positive attitude with both patients and co-workers
• Sense of compassion and caring
• Excellent communication skills
