We do this through two focused teams, RightClick Technology and RightClick Talent, working together under one roof. Position Summary This position sits on RightClick's Operations team, supporting both RightClick Technology and RightClick Talent. The HR Generalist keeps RightClick's people operations running day to day. You'll manage the full contractor lifecycle, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and offboarding, alongside the compliance work that keeps our multi-state filings and benefit administration in order, an area where you'll be expected to operate independently. You'll also lead full-cycle talent acquisition for RightClick's internal hiring, sourcing and screening candidates for our Sales team and other positions as needed. It's a hands‑on, high-volume, high‑visibility role. We are a small firm with a lean, capable Operations team, and this role's growth is tied closely to how RightClick Technology and RightClick Talent grow. The scope and responsibilities of this position will expand both as the business grows and as you bring your own initiative to the role. You'll be directly managed and developed by our VP of People & Organizational Development, who will invest in your development, from certifications and professional networking to expanding ownership of the areas you care most about as the role evolves. The HR Generalist is required to be onsite four days a week in our South Norwalk office. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition Own full-cycle sourcing and pre‑screening for RightClick's internal hiring needs, primarily Sales roles and other positions as needed, using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other cutting‑edge recruiting tools, including AI platforms. Write job descriptions and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring team. Manage resource forecasting and act on internal hiring needs as they come up. Contractor & Employee Lifecycle Manage onboarding paperwork, I-9 verification, DocuSign contracts, and ADP setup for new contractor starts, roughly averaging two onboardings per week. Process contractor and employee offboarding, including system terminations and required documentation. Support internal exit interview logistics and coordinate with the VP of People & Organizational Development on findings. Benefits Administration Administer health, HSA, commuter, and 401(k) benefits, including enrollments, billing reconciliation, and eligibility tracking. Support Open Enrollment, including affordability calculations and rate negotiations with our benefits partners. Compliance & Internal Process Handle state filings, unemployment claims, and leave administration (FMLA, CTPL, NYPL). Track harassment prevention training completion and maintain required certifications. Maintain the employee handbook, holiday calendar, and other internal HR policy documents. Partner with the Director of Office & Event Management on wellness initiatives and, during peak Benefits or Compliance periods, on talent acquisition support. Qualifications Required 3–6 years of experience in HR, with hands‑on ownership of benefits administration and multi‑state compliance work, able to run those areas independently with minimal ramp‑up. Comfortable managing several deadline‑driven workstreams at once without losing track of details. A track record of setting personal or professional goals and working to hit them. Able to work onsite in South Norwalk, CT, Monday through Thursday. Preferred Prior talent acquisition or recruiting experience is a strong plus. We're just as interested in the right personality and genuine interest in sourcing and hiring, and we'll teach you how to run our process. Experience with an HRIS or payroll platform such as ADP. Exposure to an applicant tracking system, Bullhorn experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience. PHR, SHRM-CP, or working toward a related certification. Salary range: $65,000–$75,000, based on experience. Dedicated onboarding and training period with our outgoing HR Generalist, plus ongoing support from the VP of People & Organizational Development. Support for HR certifications, courses, and professional development as the role grows.
