We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources Consulting team to provide HR support to our clients. This role is ideal for an early‑career HR professional who is interested in broadening their HR experience and will provide the right individual the opportunity to learn and grow their HR skill set as a member of our collaborative Human Resources Consulting team. This is a hybrid role, working a few days a week from our Norwalk, CT office. We believe that every candidate brings something special to the table, including you! How you’ll make an impact Auditing, correcting and maintaining physical and digital employee documents and files Administration of benefits, including monthly benefit reconciliations, enrollments/terms from client systems and benefit platforms, and answering employee questions Employee onboarding, including offer letter generation and processing new hire paperwork Termination administration HRIS support - working in various systems Supporting our senior HR team as needed. Including but not limited to; leave of absence administration (LOA, FMLA, PFL, etc.), employee relations and other duties as assigned Open enrollment administration Recruitment support Compliance support and audits About you 1+ years of Human Resources experience Resourceful, detail oriented and highly organized approach Ability to communicate successfully with clients and co-workers Flexibility and the ability to multi-task Knowledge and comprehension of employment laws or HR related policies and procedures Proficiency in MS Office Knowledge of HRIS systems preferred Base: $25 - $31 hourly Compensation and benefits At Gallagher, we believe supporting our colleagues goes far beyond the role itself.
