Quality Control and Packaging Specialist Wage: $15-19 per hour Type: Full Time Shift: Day (M-F) 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM About Us Southern Manufacturing Technologies (SMT) specializes in custom precision machined components and assemblies with over 40 years in business. About the Position We seek a Quality Control and Packaging Specialist to perform final product processing and general shipping & receiving duties. Receiving: verify part numbers and quantities, check for damage, reject damaged items, report shortages, reconcile receipts with ERP system, transfer to stock locations. Shipping: pull finished product, pack in shipping containers, verify counts, apply labels, prepare documentation. Other Duties: operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks; participate in housekeeping; follow safety policies and PPE. Ideal Candidate Required Proficiencies High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail. Ability to understand & follow written and verbal instructions. Effective communication skills both verbal & written. Basic math skills. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently. US or US Permanent Residency. Desired Proficiencies Previous shipping/receiving or similar experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
