Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities Analyzing and optimizing CCA and module manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality Identifying and implementing process improvements across multiple CCA programs and utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies Learning to create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for fixtures and stencils Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes Conducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems Providing technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as needed Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or 2 years of equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly manufacturing processes, including equipment, materials, and quality control methods Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies Desired Skills Ability to walk up and down stairs, and stand for long periods of time, to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floor Physical ability to lift, bend, and stretch to perform equipment maintenance and repairs Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities Electronics or manufacturing assembly experience Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related field Knowledge of industry‑specific regulations and standards, such as IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001 and MIL‑STD‑130 Experience with automation, robotics and AI Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks Benefits Competitive 401(k), health and dental insurance, and a 4/10 work schedule.
