Orion Reuse Manufacturing Engineer (Fri-Mon)

Description Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Mechanical and/or Electrical Systems Integration & Test Engineer to plan and author procedures for the disassembly of the Orion Spacecraft post‑flight. The role also provides floor support during mechanical, electrical, and thermal protection system disassembly environments. The candidate must have experience and/or knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Creo Parametric, CreoView, EdgeCAM, or Delmia, the ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures or engineering drawings, and the ability to write reports and keep accurate documentation for related tasks. Must be a US Citizen; the position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Experience with CAD/CAM software such as CreoParametric, CreoView, EdgeCAM, Delmia or related. Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures and reports; ability to write reports and keep accurate documentation. Experience with Microsoft Office software suite, Excel in particular. Must be a US Citizen; the position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills Good verbal and written communication including technical writing. Experience with Apriso, VE-CAMS, EPDM, and SAP software. Experience with Aerospace assembly or disassembly operations. Demonstrated knowledge of non‑conformance handling and disposition. Comfortable coordinating with technician personnel in a shop floor environment. Ability to work off schedule assignments as required. Familiarization with flight hardware tools and ground support equipment (GSE). Ability to multi‑task, be thorough and detail oriented, with job closure and problem‑solving skills.
