Family Office Staff AccountantPrideStaff is seeking a highly detail-oriented, discreet, and experienced Staff Accountant on behalf of a prominent, multi-generational Family Office client. This is an incredible opportunity to manage complex, high-volume financial operations in a fast-paced and collaborative in-office environment.Our client manages a diversified portfolio featuring private equity and robust real estate investments across a structure of over 300 entities. If you thrive in a dynamic setting that values absolute accuracy, strong internal controls, and absolute confidentiality, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily bookkeeping activities for various individuals, trusts, and legal entities, including precise transaction entries and reconciliations.Initiate and process secure domestic and international wire transfers.Assist with capital calls and distribution processing by calculating pro-rata member contributions, identifying funding sources, and initiating wires for CFO approval.Track real estate operational expenditures, capital improvements, and maintain accurate classifications for high-volume credit card expenses.Perform comprehensive reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and complex investment activities.Generate organized reports for the tax department's return preparation and support the Payroll Manager with household payroll processing as needed.Disburse payments related to real estate operations, private investments, household expenses, charitable donations, and gifts.Qualifications & Requirements5+ years of dedicated bookkeeping or accounting experience.Capital call experience is a MUST.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Deep understanding of general ledger fundamentals and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel.Proven experience processing international/domestic wires and verifying wire instructions safely.Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities across multiple entities, and an unwavering commitment to discretion and privacy.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, 100% in-office team environment.Preferred Experience (A Plus!)Prior experience working within a family office, private equity firm, or real estate investment environment.Hands-on experience with Archway (or similar family office accounting systems), QuickBooks, or Quicken.Prior exposure to managing household payroll processes.Why Apply Through PrideStaff?
