Responsibilities

As a member of the Regulatory Compliance team, the Compliance A nalyst will be responsible for the day to day support of the operations of the regulatory compliance department. The Compliance A nalyst will work with all Support Services departments as well as interact directly with SCA Health ’s facilities .

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing all phases of compliance related reviews and support activity (e.g., hotline, excluded party screening , HIPAA breach reporting, Regulatory Compliance Leads Program operations , Stark Law Monitoring Program, Section 1557 monitoring, Compliance training tracking )

• Assist in the diligence, integration , and acquisition process

• Working effectively with other departments/external sources

• Working as part of a team who support each other to accomplish set goals and objectives together

Qualifications

• Understanding of healthcare compliance and compliance related principles

• Understanding of regulatory compliance proce sses and internal controls

• Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential

• Flexible attitude and open to changes in the day to day work schedule

• Absolute attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines

• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated leadership potential

• Strong mission and values commitment; natural cultural fit

Education and Work Experience:

• Four year college degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or health care administration required.

• 2+ years of experience related to health care operations , regulatory compliance, and/or healthcare compliance preferred , but not required.

Certifications:

If not already achieved, obtain either of the below certifications within first two years of employment:

• Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC)
