Well, first and foremost we build accounting departments from the ground up. We clean up the books, institute internal controls, train the current staff, develop custom reporting, hold strategy sessions with the owners and much, much more. And we do all of it for about half of what a full time controller would cost.What about culture? Well, ours emphasizes growth, both personally and professionally. Our clients are always challenging us with new opportunities to help them, so we need to constantly learn and evolve in order to serve them. What we do for our clients has real world ramifications for real world people, and we take that responsibility seriously. As for ourselves, well we take ourselves slightly less seriously...Now that you know what we do, here’s what we’re looking for:The position will require someone who is driven to provide results for his/her client. This is a fast-paced firm. We don't bill by the hour, so if you're someone who really likes to take their time this isn't the place for you. However, if you like making a real difference for your clients, you'll fit right in.Some specific responsibilities include:Reviewing source documents such as bank and credit card statementsEntering source data into QuickBooks OnlineReconciling accounts in QuickBooks OnlinePreparing client reports and statementsA well-qualified candidate will be familiar with QuickBooks Online, have experience with payroll, be very proficient with Microsoft Office, and be comfortable with technology (including Microsoft Teams and various other web-based applications).If you are interested in this position please submit your resume and cover letter by September 11, 2026.
