Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role provides flexibility while ensuring a structured framework to deliver high-quality therapy. You will engage with students primarily through virtual platforms, while occasionally attending in-person sessions at designated schools in and around Yonkers, New York. Your work hours will align with standard school schedules, with the possibility of occasional evenings or weekends to meet client needs and support various program activities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ social, emotional, and environmental challenges, employing validated tools and methods to determine appropriate interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans that address clients' needs, setting tangible goals and outlining specific interventions to facilitate progress.

• Engage in direct counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist individuals and families in processing their experiences and building coping strategies.

• Facilitate crisis interventions, conducting risk assessments, and establishing safety plans to support clients in acute situations.

• Work collaboratively with educational staff, counselors, and outside agencies to coordinate services, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues and promoting the services available through Everyone Counseling Services.

• Engage in ongoing training and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on students at local schools, addressing a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. You will empower students by helping them build resilience, navigate their emotions, and access necessary resources, ultimately leading to improved academic performance and personal well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations and establish rapport with clients and their families.

• Strong knowledge of social justice issues and an understanding of community resources to assist clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
