The Branch Manager maintains exceptional service quality by training the staff to utilize consultative selling to offer financial products and services that meet or exceed members' needs. The Manager provides Branch Services Staff on-going individual coaching and ensures their continued development and is responsible for the overall operations of the branch. The Branch Manager develops new business for Langley through community outreach and networking.Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:Grow market share of loans and deposits.Conduct business development activities that help form and expand member relationships.Represent Langley in the community at civic and professional events.Drive branch results that align with the achievement of Success Sharing goals.Support and coach the sales and service culture at all times by providing individual and team coaching weekly and monthly.Supervise operational and administrative activities to include payroll, scheduling, balancing, opening, and closing activities.Deliver on-going feedback on staff performance and development.Foster teamwork by professionally interacting with peers, supervisors and other Langley employees.Actively participate in cross departmental collaboration to ensure effective and efficient communication.Participate in ongoing evaluation of processes and procedures to ensure the member experience is met.Assist in the development and implementation of cross departmental initiatives improving efficiencies and processes throughout the Credit Union.Process consumer loan products and services ensuring compliance with Federal Regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures to include personal, auto, home equity line of credit, and credit cards.Process all types of transactions for members including, balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account opening, and all other requests.Complies with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field or four years of experience in a financial institution or sales or service experience advising customers when choosing between options, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Four years of financial institution experience is required.Two years of supervisory experience required.Employees in this position are required to obtain and maintain a valid Notary Public commission within six (6) months of their hire date as a condition of continued employment.Keys to Success:Service Champion – Adopts a service orientation, building trusting relationships and delivering value for associates, members, and communities.Langley Ambassador – Demonstrates a passion for Langley's vision, encouraging diversity, equity and inclusion while considering Langley's values when making decisions and taking accountability for delivering results.Agile in Action – Adapts to changes in the business, demonstrating innovation to improve Langley and advance the business into the future.Team Driven – Collaborates across Langley, communicating with transparency and prioritizing a team-based approach that delivers optimal outcomes for associates, members, and communities.Continuous Learner – Maintains an understanding of Langley's business and how value is delivered to members and actively pursues opportunities to grow oneself and strengthen the organization.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
