Administrative Office Assistant
Large transportation and trucking company seeks an organized Administrative Office Assistant to support day-to-day freight operations and handle other clerical tasks at their offices located in Long Beach, CA.
This is a full-time position where you will work Monday through Friday from 6AM to 2:30PM and earn $26 per hour, plus possible overtime as needed. You will also enjoy paid vacation and sick time.
As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing general clerical and logistics administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation. You will also be expected to handle and coordinate:
- Dry Van and Reefer freight.
- Flatbed loads.
- Intermodal and Drayage shipments.
- Over the Road (OTS) trucking services.
To qualify for this position, you must have at least 2 years of office clerical experience in the logistics or transportation industry. You must also have:
- Strong computer skills.
- A flexible schedule and the ability to work overtime, as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
