Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe, efficient patient care.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient status during night shifts, respond to changes, and escalate concerns as appropriate to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse license (or eligibility) to practice in the state.
• Graduation from an accredited registered nurse program (RN degree).
• Ability to perform nursing duties in a hospital setting and participate in credentialing/onboarding processes.
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
