Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to telemetry patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor patient status and respond to changes with clinical judgment.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and patient safety.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor telemetry data and respond to alarms as needed.
• Document care and outcomes; educate patients and families as appropriate.

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced unit
• Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment
