UES is hiring a full-time CAD Drafter in Kennesaw, Georgia. You will use your drafting skills to turn sketches, specifications, and technical information into accurate drawings for geotechnical and environmental projects. Your work will help engineers and environmental professionals clearly communicate site conditions and project findings.

Day-to-day work will include preparing and revising drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, reviewing measurements, incorporating feedback, and checking completed drawings for accuracy. Projects may include geotechnical investigations, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, and soil and groundwater assessments. You will also organize project drawing files, manage competing deadlines, and work with technical staff to resolve missing or unclear information.

Essential skills include strong technical drawing ability, attention to detail, mathematical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. You should understand construction drawings, be familiar with CAD software and 3D modeling tools, and communicate clearly with project team members.

The published qualifications list a bachelor's degree in CAD, architecture, engineering, or a related field and three or more years of drafting experience.
