Description - What Your Role Entails

• Verify the accuracy of results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support the specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and assist in maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with the commitment to prepare for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure with us.
