Description - What Your Role Entails

• Conduct essential and advanced clinical laboratory evaluations, covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various other tests, all while adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize test results for precision, rectify discrepancies, and carry out maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Aid in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Keep detailed records of all procedures, mentoring new staff or students, while contributing to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy and safe working environment while following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of your employment initiation.
• Certification must remain valid throughout your employment.
