Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct psychoeducational sessions on perinatal mental health and make necessary referrals to community-based resources to support clients.

• Engage clients in group sessions to facilitate peer support and shared learning, enhancing their coping skills and understanding of mental health.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to collaborate on client care and professional development.

• Conduct individualized assessments and treatment planning, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are met effectively.

• Maintain contact with external agencies, including inpatient facilities and outpatient programs, to secure referrals and enhance service delivery.

• Provide advocacy for consumers by assisting them with social service needs and connecting them to available resources.

• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes diligently, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Implement treatment plans under clinical supervision, adapting approaches based on individual client responses and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients navigating mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and specific perinatal issues. You will provide compassionate care while working alongside a diverse population that may also include families and significant others, recognizing the collective impact of mental health on relationships and community dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to facilitate effective therapy and collaboration with clients and colleagues.

• No prior history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and remain current with any continuing education requirements for licensure.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting or with remote counseling practices is highly regarded.

• Familiarity with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), Medicaid, and Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
