Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations via telehealth appointments, allowing you to assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health thoroughly.

• Document initial consultations and ongoing treatment progress accurately, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and client confidentiality.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing digital platforms to reach clients effectively.

• Monitor clients' progress on their treatment plans, making necessary adjustments based on their evolving needs and feedback.

• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.

• Follow up with admitted clients in the hospital, working closely with attending health professionals to coordinate care and maximize recovery potential.

• Guide family members and caregivers in understanding and managing their loved ones' mental health challenges, enhancing the support system around the client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on a varied client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders, as well as families facing relational challenges. Our clients represent different backgrounds and life experiences, and your empathetic approach will significantly contribute to their recovery. By using our telehealth platform, you will reach clients who may have difficulty accessing traditional in-person services, making your role even more impactful.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in Tennessee.
\n
• Successful completion of relevant exams, such as the NCE and/or the NCMHCE.
\n
• A proven track record as a mental health counselor with a strong foundational understanding of various therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to maintain accurate client documentation and streamline communication.
\n
• Experience with physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addressing addiction disorders, is preferred.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.

• In-depth knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
