Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, develop clinical diagnoses, and collaborate on customized treatment plans that address their specific needs.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities, ensuring that each session is tailored to promote client engagement and progress.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning to ensure their well-being.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, ensuring all documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments meet ethical and legal standards.

• Work cohesively with interdisciplinary treatment teams, collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment paths, and community resource options, fostering an informed and empowered client base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Willow Garden Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, families, and group clients facing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will employ a client-centered approach to therapy, ensuring that care is imbued with empathy and cultural sensitivity, addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

• Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and the ability to develop effective treatment strategies.

• At least two years of relevant experience working in a clinical setting is required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to foster effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
