Frazier Farm Pork & Heartland Superior Meats is seeking a Farmers Market Sales Associate to represent our brand at local farmers markets throughout the Chicagoland area. This part-time, seasonal position is ideal for individuals who thrive on customer interaction, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in delivering excellent sales experiences. As the face of our booth, you will engage customers, share our farm’s story, and drive product sales in a dynamic market setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down farmers market booth including tents, tables, and displays
• Transport products and supplies to and from the market
• Actively engage customers and promote our product offerings
• Process payments using Square (POS system) and handle cash transactions
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions on farm practices
• Assist with inventory management and booth presentation maintenance
• Capture photos and provide brief social media updates

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Comfortable with upselling and engaging customers
• Reliable, punctual, and self-directed with ability to lift 35+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active car insurance
• Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in sales or customer service
