Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time in Onsite Rehabilitation Facility

The Holistic Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation facility located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Work Environment

As a member of our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will work in a state-of-the-art environment that encourages collaboration among healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies designed to support superior patient care. Working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, you will engage closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to deliver the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical conditions, reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to identify their needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's evaluation findings, ensuring adaptability to changes in conditions and healthcare environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring timely updates in compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and third-party payers to discuss treatment progress and address any questions or concerns.
• Stay informed of best practices in physical therapy and attend ongoing training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Participate in facility meetings to contribute insights and collaborate on improving patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with patients of varying ages and backgrounds who suffer from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will utilize evidence-based practices to empower patients in their recovery, with an emphasis on functional restoration and independence.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• CPR certification and any additional relevant certifications as required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for enhancing patient care and outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for timely documentation and patient management.
• Familiarity with various physical therapy treatment modalities and exercise programming tailored to orthopedic patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, our benefits package includes:
