Work Environment

You will work onsite within our outpatient office from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans aimed at achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a structured patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused, individualized attention.
• Deliver cost-effective therapeutic interventions that enhance functional mobility and range of motion, incorporating manual therapy techniques and prescribed exercise programs.
• Actively engage patients, providing motivation and encouragement throughout their treatment journey to optimize functional outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, carefully evaluating treatment outcomes, modifying care plans as needed, and maintaining comprehensive documentation using EMR software like WebPT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness.
• Educate patients on preventive measures and healthy lifestyle changes to sustain improvements in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working primarily with patients suffering from orthopedic conditions such as joint pain, sports injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will focus on delivering tailored care that not only addresses immediate rehabilitation needs but also empowers patients to maintain their health long-term through education and preventive strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record devoid of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and the design and implementation of personalized exercise programs.
• Strong ability to utilize EMR systems effectively, ensuring accurate patient documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, ideally with a focus on individualized patient care strategies.
• Demonstrated success in a collaborative healthcare environment, enhancing holistic patient outcomes through teamwork.

Compensation and Benefits
