Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients as referred by physicians, reviewing medical records, and assessing their functional abilities and goals.
• Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and expected recovery outcomes.
• Providing direct care through hands-on treatment techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to optimize recovery and promote independence.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to discuss clinical findings and coordinate patient care during team meetings.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation in compliance with facility and departmental policies to ensure effective communication and billing accuracy.
• Training and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, rehabilitation aides, and other non-professional staff as necessary to enhance the treatment experience for patients.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and continuing education to advance clinical skills and knowledge in the field.
• Ensuring confidentiality and ethical handling of all patient information in alignment with HIPAA regulations and facility policy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. You will engage with a diverse population, requiring a tailored approach to each patient's unique circumstances and recovery journey. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program.
• Current Florida State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Current certification in CPR, and up-to-date physical and PPD test results.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with proof of registration and insurance, as local travel may be required for home visits or community outreach.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Fit Care Therapy, Inc. offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 120,000 and 130,000 per year. In addition to a fulfilling compensation package, we provide:
