GENERAL PURPOSE As an Operations Supervisor, you'll lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities for the assigned shift, including that all resources are assigned in a manner to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer service, and operation objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Identify issues affecting customer satisfaction caused by operational issues and act as a key change agent for the organization in developing solutions. Manage inventory related functions to achievement of goals for operational metrics, including shipping time, order fill rate, inventory location, and shipping accuracy. Ensure that the annual objectives for productivity, accuracy, and timelines are met. Develop and manage a strong team, oversee training, coaching, and evaluation of all employees necessary to meet or exceed goals. Ensure that safety, security, productivity, and satisfaction of employees align with company objectives Manage warehouse inventory control programs and assure location and accuracy meets our corporate requirements. Actively measure quality and strive for continuous improvement. Continually seek ways to improve the overall distribution process and identify best practices. Maintain compliance for areas of responsibility and participate in internal and external audits. Other duties may be assigned to achieve business objectives. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Skills and Abilities High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of progressive, demonstrated leadership experience in operations management within a warehouse or distribution environment. Ability to lift to 50 pounds consistently. Powered Industrial vehicle experience (preferred). Mobile hand-held device experience (preferred). Strong multitasking skill. Strong inter-personal and communication ability. MS Excel and Word proficiency.
